In celebration of the arts, this past Father’s Day weekend, the Edmonds Arts Festival welcomed both patrons and artists alike. For over 60 years the Edmonds Arts Festival has been an annual tradition that has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest’s most prestigious art fairs.
Those in attendance at this weekend’s festivities were able to walk around Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street, in support of artists in our community.
In the past, over 160 booths have been present, and this year was no exception. There was: live music and performances, places for kids to create, over 20 mouth-watering food vendors, and art wherever you looked.
This year artists booths included a plethora of artistic expression: sculptures, photography, jewelry, paintings, wood workings, and digital art. While browsing both the indoor and outdoor booths, visitors snacked on culinary delights ranging from kettle corn and churros to gyros and bao buns. No matter how visitors participated there was something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Edmonds Arts Festival.
