Hundreds of people gathered in Bellevue on Monday afternoon in response to the recent Hamas attacks amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East. The event was organized by the Israeli American Council (IAC), and was held at the intersection of Bellevue Way. Hundreds of peaceful Israeli demonstrators came together to proudly display flags side by side.
An IAC spokesperson emphasized that the purpose of the rally was to focus on peace and to show respect for all the victims and their grieving families. Local law enforcement officers were present to ensure traffic management and to maintain order on the sidewalks. The participants expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received by passersby, and also held a moment of silence to remember those who have lost their lives or remain missing.
